On February 13, 2024, the USPTO issued the Inventorship Guidance for AI Assisted Inventions. The Guidance provides assistance for Examiners and Applicants in determining how the inventorship should be determined for AI-assisted inventions. This lecture discusses the Pannu factors and the Guiding Principles for determining the inventorship.
