Hailey Bureau, Ph.D., specializes in patent prosecution in the fields of chemistry and life sciences. Her graduate work focused on developing algorithms for the simulation of peptide dynamics. Dr. Bureau received her B.S. in chemistry from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, her Ph.D. in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.

These rulings regarding Section 112(a), a written description requirement and an enablement standard, have created a high burden for Applicants in the life science industry to overcome.
