The PTAB recently made three Decisions precedential. Two Decision, RPX Corp. v. Applications in Internet Time LLC and SharkNinja Operating LLC v. iRobot Corp, concern the duty to name the Real Party in Interest, the ability to amend the Real Party in Interest, and consequences of not naming the proper Real Party in Interest. The third Decision, Apple Inc. v. Uniloc 2017 LLC, concerns the filing of copycat Petition.
