Laura C. Lutz

Laura Lutz has practiced in the intellectual property field since 1994 specializing in chemical and pharmaceutical patents. Ms. Lutz worked as a patent examiner from 1994 to 1998 and joined BSKB in 1998. As a former Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Ms. Lutz evaluated patentability of inventions in the field of organic chemistry, including pharmaceuticals and herbicides. Ms. Lutz also worked as an instructor and consultant at Brookhaven National Laboratories for a NSF-sponsored summer school for Nuclear chemistry and physics.

Her experience includes prosecuting patent applications, corresponding with clients, and preparing responses to all USPTO correspondence.
