Post-Grant Review Practice, including Reexamination and Reissue

Reexamination and Reissue Practice

BSKB is one of a handful of firms in the U.S. with a practice group dedicated to patent reexaminations and reissues and other types of post-grant proceedings. Our experience in these specialties allows us to offer clients powerful alternatives in patent litigation. Both areas involve aspects of patent litigation and patent prosecution that require highly experienced counsel who are skilled in navigating the proceedings in the USPTO with patent litigation in the courts.

Information on the various post-grant proceedings can be found here.

As with our patent prosecution practice, our post-grant practice covers every aspect of science, technology and engineering. Our team is comprised of skilled attorneys and other experts who have the background required for understanding complex, multi-disciplinary technologies, and arguing before senior level Patent Examiners, the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (BPAI) and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC).

BSKB leverages strategic insight of the latest patent law trends, a comprehensive understanding of technical issues, and an in-depth knowledge of USPTO proceedings to strengthen patents, and prospects for successful enforcements, on behalf of our clients.

Partners Gerald M. Murphy, Jr., Leonard R. Svensson and Eugene T. Perez are sharing their expertise on Post-Grant Review through series of seminars with the Practicing Law Institute (PLI) in 2012. More information about this lecture series can be found here.
