Areas > Electrical Patent Practice BSKB's Electrical Engineering/Computer Science Practice Group is made
up of practitioners with both the necessary legal expertise and specialized technical
knowledge to effectively serve the intellectual property needs of our clients. Our
experience includes all aspects of patent practice from drafting and prosecuting patent
applications in the U.S. and abroad to licensing, managing IP portfolios, and providing
opinions and counseling on issues pertaining to patent infringement and validity. We also
counsel our clients on other forms of intellectual property, including copyright and trade
secrets, and handle complex patent litigation and arbitration.
Our group includes attorneys, patent agents, and technical advisors with
educational training and industry experience in electrical and electronic engineering and
computer science. Our technical experience includes: digital signal processing, computer
architecture/software, optics, solid state circuitry, video and image systems,
telecommunications, power generation, radar, sonar and inertial navigation systems, and
e-commerce.
Many of our members are former patent examiners, helping us to effectively
assist our clients through the patenting process.
