Birch Stewart Kolasch & Birch (BSKB), the third largest fi ler of U.S. patents, is offering several full scholarships to our 2011 Summer Patent Seminar.
- Seminar Dates: June 11 - July 1, 2011
- Location: BSBK Offices in Falls Church, VA
This intensive three week seminar covers all major areas of U.S. patent law, including an overview of the U.S. patent system and various patent prosecution topics and moving on to more complex subjects such as patent infringement litigation. This course is designed for practicing IP professionals and usually attracts about 50 to 60 IP professionals from around the world. In addition to providing valuable and practical training, the course will allow scholarship recipients to network with patent professionals in both professional and social situations.
Specific topics covered include:
- Preparation and Prosecution of U.S. Patent Applications
- Patent Prosecution Workshops
- Post-Grant Modification & Challenge of Patents at the USPTO
- Patent Litigation
Criteria for application
- Must currently be enrolled in law school
- Have a keen interest in U.S. Patent Law
