Culture

It is often said that in intellectual property, being first is what it is all about. BSKB has a long record of achieving “firsts," both for the firm and its clients, including the “first" intellectual property firm to own its own margarita machine. Our culture is collegial, team-oriented, and casual without losing sight of our professionalism. We have many of the finest intellectual property practitioners in the country, many have prior experience as patent examiners at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and all are happy to share their knowledge and experience with our newer attorneys.

Education is important to us. BSKB is committed to sharing knowledge with our attorneys throughout the year at weekly luncheon lectures to sharpen the perspectives of our attorneys, agents and technical specialists on the latest issues in intellectual property practice and technology.

In addition to being committed to fostering an environment that produces outstanding intellectual property practitioners, attorneys and staff hold a wide variety of interests, including fishing, banjo-playing, motorcycles, home brewing, quilting, hummingbird banding, hiking and mountaineering, and, of course, golf.
