Susan Gorman is a registered patent attorney in the firm of Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP who has been working in the intellectual property field since 1999. Dr. Gorman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in botany, a Ph.D. in molecular biology and a Juris Doctor degree (cum laude) in law. She has experience in all aspects of patent prosecution, including prosecution of patent applications in the United States and abroad, opposition proceedings in the EPO, patent interferences and patent appeals. She also has experience counseling in patent validity and infringement issues and handling worldwide patent portfolios.
