Experience:
Mr. Lewis has been actively involved in all phases of patent prosecution, both
domestic and foreign, including preparing and filing of new patent applications,
amendments, interviews with examiners, appeal briefs and oral hearings.
Mr. Lewis has lectured on various U.S. Patent Law topics in the U.S. and abroad,
including the Swedish Patent Office and the Norwegian Patent Office.
Mr. Lewis also has experience in the preparation of infringement and validity opinions
and has conducted validity searches.
Mr. Lewis was a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office from 1990 to
1998. He has practiced in the intellectual property field since 1990, specializing in
mechanical and electromechanical patents.
