Experience
Marc Weiner has practiced in the intellectual property field since 1984, specializing in chemical, biotechnology and mechanical patents. Mr. Weiner has prepared, filed and prosecuted numerous patent applications in the area of biotechnology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals and chemical and mechanical engineering. He has managed worldwide patent portfolios, prepared and presented numerous seminars before international audiences regarding U.S. patent statutory law and case law developments, counseled clients and prepared numerous opinions analyzing patent validity and infringement issues. Mr. Weiner has also represented clients in a variety of inter partes matters, including patent interferences and reexaminations, prepared and filed numerous Appeal Briefs within the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and conducted numerous Oral Hearings before the U.S. Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences.
