Experience
Binli Guan has been working in the field of trademarks since 1980. She specializes in trademark prosecution including advising clients in trademark searches, use and protection of their marks, corporate trademark protection plans, responding to Office Actions and in trademark Opposition and Cancellation proceedings.

Binli Guan has been providing lectures on trademarks since 1984 in China, Taiwan, Japan, and the United States in the firm's annual trademark seminars. Her lecture materials, which have been published in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan and the United States, cover an introduction to USTA, current developments in U.S. trademark law and practice, domain name and trademarks protection, famous mark protection and dilution, as well as geographical indications. Since 1996 Ms. Guan has been an active committee member of INTA on committees including the Bulletin Board Committee, the Brand Name Education Foundation Committee, the Website Policy Committee and the Geographical Indication Committee. In 2003, she was the moderator of a geographical indication panel in Shanghai during an INTA seminar. In addition, Ms. Guan handles client development matters in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and other Asian countries for the firm.
