Penny Caudle has practiced in the intellectual property field since 1998, specializing in electrical, software and business method patents. In her role as associate at BSKB, Ms. Caudle works directly with inventors to prepare patent applications in various electrical areas, with an emphasis in telecommunications, networking, display technology, software and ecommerce. Ms. Caudle also prosecutes patent applications, including corresponding with clients and preparing replies to all USPTO correspondence, including Office Actions and Restriction Requirements. Her expertise also includes preparing Appeal Briefs and conducting oral hearings before the USPTO Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, as well as conducting legal research and assisting partners in preparing patentability, non-infringement, and validity opinion letters.
